Meissner Team Takes on Westport Marathon for the Sunflower Children’s Hospice

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our valued corporate partner, Meissner, whose employees recently took on the challenge of the Westport Marathon in support of the Sunflower Children’s Hospice.

A team of 21 Meissner employees participated across the 10km, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon events, demonstrating incredible commitment and community spirit while raising awareness and vital funds for the hospice.

To date, the team has raised an outstanding €11,220, thanks to the generosity of colleagues, family members, friends, and supporters. These funds will help support the development of the Sunflower Children’s Hospice, which will provide specialist palliative care and support services to children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the Western Seaboard.

There is still time to support the team’s fundraising efforts through their iDonate page: Meissner Marathon Fundraiser.

We wish to congratulate all 21 participants on their fantastic achievement and thank everyone who has supported this remarkable fundraising initiative. 🌻💛

Your support helps children and families when they need it most.

For families caring for a child with a life limiting illness, everyday life can be filled with uncertainty, exhaustion & moments no family should have to face alone.
