At the Sunflower Children’s Hospice, care is shaped around the needs of each child and family, recognising that every journey is different.
Paediatric palliative care is about more than medical treatment. It focuses on comfort, quality of life and emotional support, from diagnosis, through treatment and respite, and, where needed, end-of-life care and bereavement support.

8 Inpatient Beds

Eight private rooms where specialist clinical care and a calm, child centred environment exist side by side. Because children deserve both.

Family Accommodation

Onsite rooms so families never have to choose between being there and getting rest. A space where every member of the family feels at home.

Hydrotherapy Pool

Therapeutic warm water care to support comfort, movement and wellbeing, with moments of genuine enjoyment for children.

Therapy Rooms

Dedicated space for play therapy, art therapy, sensory exploration and physiotherapy. Because children need more than medical care.

Direct Garden Access

Every room opens directly to the gardens. Fresh air, natural light, and the outdoors are accessible whenever a family needs it.

Dining Facilities

Private and shared dining options, so families can eat together on their own terms.

Accessible Parking

Covered drop-off and oversized parking spaces, because arrival and departure should never add stress to the experience.

Adolescents & Young Adults Den

A space built specifically for teenagers and young adults. Somewhere to relax, away from clinical settings.
