Open Garden Afternoon Tea in Support of The Sunflower Children’s Hospice

Cartoon flower with a round face, yellow petals, a big smile, holding a pencil in one hand and making a peace sign with the other. Inspired by Sunflower Children’s Hospice, it has simple drawn feet and a cheerful expression.
A horizontal white banner with a row of evenly spaced grey semi-circles along the top edge, resembling a scalloped or wavy border design, perfect for Sunflower Children’s Hospice events.

Lough Lannagh Village is inviting the community to join them for a special Open Garden Afternoon Tea in support of The Sunflower Children’s Hospice on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, from 1pm to 3:30pm.

Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour of the beautiful lakeside gardens and Community Polytunnel, before relaxing with tea, coffee, homemade scones and treats.

There will also be a wonderful display of hand-crocheted sunflowers, created by the Crochet and Knitting with Purpose Group, which will be handed out to members of the community on the day.

Guests will have the opportunity to leave a wish or message of support on the Wishing Tree, making the afternoon a special occasion for the whole community.

There is no admission charge or advance booking required. Instead, visitors are simply invited to make a donation on the day, with all donations going to The Sunflower Children’s Hospice.

Representatives from The Sunflower Children’s Hospice will also be there to chat with visitors and share information about how you can get involved and organise your own fundraising event.

Come along with family and friends, explore the gardens, enjoy some afternoon tea and help support the development of The Sunflower Children’s Hospice.
